The Offering

 Lord -  
I do not have 
two fish . . .

A Moment of Time

 I hold in my hand a moment of time
Many demand it – as if it’s not mine
And many do not see its value or worth
Until it has gone like water from earth
 

But I know its value – and it’s short supply
And I can’t retrieve it – once it goes by
Be it an hour, a day, or a year
It is gone like the blink that releases a tear
    

So Lord – help me use this moment of time
To offer you praise – for the privilege that’s mine
And to serve you today –while we still have the light
With Faith and with Wisdom and with all of my Might
